What it is

The Slack integration for Conduit allows you to manage guest communication directly within your existing Slack workspace. This streamlines communication and simplifies guest message approval, editing, and response.

Why we have it

  • Centralized Communication: Manage both internal team communication and guest messages within a single platform (Slack).

  • Improved Efficiency: Approve, dismiss, or edit guest messages directly from Slack, saving you time and keeping communication flowing.

  • Streamlined Workflow: Respond to guests efficiently and stay on top of guest messages, upsell opportunities, and task updates – all within Slack.

How to set it up

  1. Access Settings:

  • Log in to your Conduit account.

  • Navigate to your account settings.

  • Locate the "Integrations" section.

  1. Choose a Channel:

Select the Slack channel you want to receive Conduit messages in.

  1. Configure Settings and Notifications:

Choose which events you want to receive notifications for:

  • Guest messages: Receive alerts when guests send messages.

  • Upsells: Get notifications about potential upsell opportunities.

  • Tasks: Stay informed about task updates and deadlines.

Sending Messages from Slack

Guest messages will funnel into your Slack account and you will have the option to Approve, Dismiss, or Edit Messages. You will also be able to go to the conversation in the Conduit inbox by clicking the "Go to Conversation" link

Clear the Slack Channel

If your Conduit channel gets too cluttered, use the keyboard shortcut "/clear_channel" to clear all the messages.

By following these steps, you'll successfully connect Slack and Conduit, streamlining your workflow and providing a more efficient way to communicate with guests.

Search for the channel or select it from the dropdown. If you don't see the channel in the dropdown, try searching for it.
