Overview

Email forwarding allows you to receive all your company emails within Conduit.

By forwarding emails from your company’s email addresses (ie. [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]) to your Conduit inbound address, you centralize conversations for easier tracking, tagging, and response handling.

Whether you use Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or another provider, Conduit ensures your team is always connected and able to respond efficiently.

Set Up

To receive emails, you need to set up email forwarding from your company’s support email address (e.g. [email protected]) to your Conduit workspace’s inbound email address. Your workspace’s inbound email address ends with @inbound.postmark.app and can be found in under Settings → Email.

This assumes you use Google Workspace (formerly called Google Apps) to manage your domain’s emails.

  1. Go to your Gmail routing configuration

  1. Add a new rule

Under “Default routing” click on “CONFIGURE” or “ADD ANOTHER RULE”

  1. Set the recipient

In the dropdown, select “Single recipient” and write your support email address under “Email address”

  1. Check the box `Change envelope recipient`

  2. Choose either "Replace recipient"` or "Also deliver to" (Scroll down to learn which option best fits your needs)

Choose “Replace recipient” and paste the inbound email address (@inbound.postmarkapp.com)

or choose “Also Deliver to” and paste the inbound email address (@inbound.postmarkapp.com)

Choosing "Replace recipient" will result in your Conduit inbox being the only place where inbound emails come to whereas choosing "Also deliver to" will result in your Conduit inbox being one of the multiple places where inbound emails come to (ie your existing Gmail inbox + your Conduit inbox)

  1. Set who the rule applies to

Scroll further down, and choose “Perform this action on non-recognised and recognised addresses”

  1. Click on `Save`

…done!

If you have existing email routing rules they can sometimes conflict with ones you add for Conduit. For optimal reliability always reorder the Conduit ones to apply first.

If your email provider is not Google, you can still set up email forwarding in different ways, such as with your domain registrar (e.g. ) or your email provider (e.g. )
