How to port your number from Google Voice to Conduit

Steps for Porting Your Google Voice Number to Conduit

1. Unlock Your Number

Visit www.google.com/voice/unlock to begin the porting process. Select the Google Voice number you wish to port to Conduit, and click on "Unlock my number". If you have multiple numbers, make sure to select the correct one from the dropdown menu before proceeding.

1. Pay the Porting Fee

A $3.00 fee is required to unlock your Google Voice number for transfer. A pop-up message will appear, confirming the fee and notifying you that your messages will remain in your Google Voice account even after the number is ported. Proceed to pay the fee via Google Pay. A receipt for the payment will be sent to the email address associated with your Google Voice account.

1. Wait for Confirmation

After the payment is processed, you will see the status of your phone number update to “Unlocked” in the Google Voice interface.

1. Start the Porting Process with Conduit

Once your number is unlocked, please initiate your port request by following the detailed steps in our porting guide. Make sure to include all the required information for a smooth transfer.
