An offer is one purchasable or requestable item. Offers are workspace-level resources that you can reuse in multiple template layouts. kind controls the behavior. purchase charges at checkout. request places a hold on the guest’s card and charges it only if you approve the request; a free request takes no card. ad opens link_url. Offer edits reach portals already sent.

Flat pricing

Call Create Portal Offer to create an offer:
price_in_cents must be 0 or at least 500 for purchase and request offers without options or a percentage price.

Options

Offers with options are set up in the app. The API returns them read-only in option_groups and combinations_enabled. On those offers, price_in_cents is the base price and each option’s price_in_cents is added to it. An offer with option groups can’t take percent_price.

Percentage pricing

percent_price charges a percentage of a booking value:
of accepts totalPrice, averageNightlyRate, averageNightlyRateWithFees or accommodationFare. accommodationFare is the total accommodation fare for the stay, excluding fees and taxes, and averageNightlyRate is that total divided by reservation nights. averageNightlyRateWithFees is the booking total, including fees and taxes, divided by reservation nights, and is never lower than averageNightlyRate. All three are available for supported Guesty, Hostaway, Track and Mews reservations.

Targeting and availability

Offer targeting supports booking channel, reservation source, nights, vacant nights before arrival or after departure (1 to 30), property and listing group, inbox, and contact custom-attribute criteria. Channel names are exact and case-sensitive, for example Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia and Direct bookings. The following offer requires one vacant night before arrival:
availability uses visibleFrom, visibleUntil, bookableFrom, and bookableUntil.

Archiving

Archive Portal Offer deactivates an offer, removes it from each template layout, and hides it in portals already sent. Each changed template’s version goes up, and an active template left with no blocks becomes a draft. Restore Portal Offer reactivates the offer. It does not restore removed layout blocks.
