Conduit supports two connection models:
  • Airbnb as your PMS: connect each Airbnb host account as a primary account. Conduit syncs its listings, reservations, and guest messages. You can connect as many primary Airbnb accounts as you need.
  • Another PMS with Airbnb messaging: keep Guesty, Streamline, or another PMS as the workspace’s primary property system, then connect as many Airbnb messaging accounts as you need.

Choose a connection model

Primary and messaging accounts cannot be mixed in the same workspace. This ensures every Airbnb conversation uses the credentials for the account that owns it and that inbound guest messages follow the same connection model.
Manage both kinds of connection under Settings > Connections > Airbnb. The account list identifies each primary account. You can also start your first Airbnb PMS connection from Settings > Connections > PMS by clicking Add PMS and selecting Airbnb.
Before starting the connection in Conduit, open Airbnb in the same browser and confirm that you are signed in to the Airbnb account you want to connect. Airbnb may reuse your active session and authorize that account without showing an account picker or asking you to sign in again.If the wrong account is open, sign out of Airbnb and sign in to the correct account before continuing in Conduit.

Use Airbnb as your PMS

You can use Airbnb as your PMS when the workspace does not already have another PMS or Airbnb messaging accounts. After the first connection, use Connect another primary account to add each additional Airbnb host account.

Confirm your Airbnb account

Go to Airbnb in the browser where you use Conduit and verify that you are signed in to the intended host account.

Open the Airbnb connection page

In Conduit, go to Settings > Connections > Airbnb.

Choose the primary connection

For the first account, click Use Airbnb as your PMS. For later accounts, click Connect another primary account. You can also start the first connection from Settings > Connections > PMS by clicking Add PMS and selecting Airbnb.

Authorize Conduit

Complete the Airbnb authorization. Airbnb returns you to Conduit, where the account appears with Primary next to its Airbnb ID. Follow the prompts to import your listings.

Connect a messaging account

Messaging accounts are available only when Airbnb is not the workspace’s PMS. First switch to the intended account on Airbnb. Then go to Settings > Connections > Airbnb and click Connect a messaging account. If you later make Airbnb the workspace’s PMS, reconnect the same account as the primary. Conduit promotes that account instead of keeping duplicate credentials. Disconnect any other Airbnb messaging accounts first; Conduit will not remove or convert those accounts automatically.
After connecting, check the account name, email, or Airbnb ID shown in Conduit to confirm that you authorized the intended account.

Reconnect an account

If an account shows Needs reconnect, click Reconnect on that row. Before authorizing Conduit, sign in to Airbnb as the account named on the row. Airbnb may reuse the account already open in your browser, and authorizing a different host account will not repair the connection.
If the wrong account is open, sign out of Airbnb and sign in as the account named on the row before clicking Reconnect again.

Remove an account

Click Remove on an account row and confirm the removal. Conduit stops syncing reservations and messages for that account. Existing listings, reservations, and conversations stay in Conduit, but they stop updating.

Airbnb messaging rules
