Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO and similar channels are where many of your guest conversations start. Depending on your setup, those conversations either arrive in Conduit with your property management system, or they need connecting here.

Check this first

Before connecting anything, see Does your PMS carry your OTA messaging? If your property management system already carries these conversations, there is nothing to do on this page, and connecting a channel here could create duplicate conversations. If it does not, connect each channel you actually take bookings through, using the steps below.

Airbnb

Go to Settings > Channels > Airbnb and sign in to your Airbnb account. If you have more than one Airbnb account, repeat the same steps for each one, signing into a different account each time.

Booking.com and VRBO

These channels send their guest messages to you by email, so your email needs to be connected before you set them up. Once it is:
1

Open your connections

Go to Settings > Connections > Add connection.
2

Choose the channel

Pick Booking.com or VRBO from the list.
3

Select your email address

Choose the email address you have already configured. This is where Conduit reads the messages from.

Expedia

Expedia messaging is available, but it is enabled at partner level rather than by you. There is nothing to set up here. Let your onboarding contact know that Expedia is in scope and they will arrange it.

Frequently asked questions

The address where you already receive guest notification emails from those channels. That is the mailbox their messages arrive in, so it is the one Conduit needs to read.
No. Connecting a channel your PMS already carries can result in the same conversation appearing twice. If you are unsure, check Does your PMS carry your OTA messaging? or ask your onboarding contact before connecting.
No, only the ones you actually take bookings through.
