# Messages and channels

> Fixes for messages that are missing, duplicated or landing in the wrong inbox, and for channel connections that stop working.

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Airbnb, Booking.com or VRBO messages are not arriving">
    Check whether your PMS carries your OTA messaging. If it does, the messages come through the PMS and you should not connect the OTA separately. If it does not, connect the channel directly. See [Does your PMS carry your OTA messaging?](/setup/channels/does-your-pms-carry-ota-messaging).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I am seeing duplicate conversations">
    Duplicates usually mean the same messages are reaching Conduit two ways, for example through a PMS that carries OTA messaging and through a direct OTA connection. Review the connection rules in [Connect PMS](/setup/pms/connect-pms) and remove the duplicate route.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The wrong Airbnb account was connected">
    Airbnb may reuse whichever account is signed in on your browser. Sign out of Airbnb, sign in to the correct host account, then connect again. Check the account name, email or Airbnb ID shown in Conduit afterwards. See [Connect Airbnb](/setup/channels/connect-airbnb).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Messages land in the wrong inbox or go to the wrong agent">
    Set up inbox routing rules so each channel or number goes where it should. See [Inbox routing](/inbox/setup/routing).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="iMessage numbers are not appearing or messages are not arriving">
    Confirm the number is active in the Linq or Sendblue account the credentials belong to, then check the connection is active in **Settings > Connections**. If credentials are rejected, copy them again and reconnect. See [Connect iMessage](/setup/channels/connect-imessage).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="A tool connection is not returning the data I expected">
    A tool can only work with what the vendor's API exposes, so a field you can see in the other system's interface is sometimes not available. To see exactly what a connection can do, open it from **Settings > Connections**, click the three dots, select **View details** and open the **Tools** tab.
