# Connect Google Drive

> Connect Google Drive so documents and spreadsheets in shared folders feed your Knowledge Base and stay in sync on a schedule.

## Overview

Google Drive is the best fit for documents, spreadsheets and files that already live in shared folders. Once connected, the files you share are imported into your Knowledge Base. Turn on auto-sync to keep them up to date as they change.

You choose which files and folders Conduit can see. Anything you do not share stays private.

## Connect Google Drive in Conduit

1. Go to **Settings > Connections** and click **Add connection**, or open **Agents > Marketplace**.
2. Search for **Google Drive** and select it.
3. Sign in with Google and choose the specific files or folders Conduit should have access to.
4. Go to **Agents > Knowledge** and import the shared files into the right folder.
5. Open the source's three-dot menu, choose **Set auto-sync**, and pick a schedule. Auto-sync is off until you turn it on, so without this step Conduit does not pick up later edits. See [Auto-sync Knowledge Sources](/build-your-agent/knowledge-base/auto-sync).

<Warning>
  Share only what a contact could reasonably be told. A file added later inside a shared folder can be picked up automatically, so review the folder whenever someone adds to it.
</Warning>

See [Connected Sources](/build-your-agent/knowledge-base/connected-sources) for sync statuses and how to remove a source.
