# Connect Hostaway

> Connect Hostaway to Conduit with an account ID and API key so listings, reservations and OTA messages sync automatically.

## Overview

Hostaway connects with an **account ID** and an **API key**.

Hostaway carries your OTA messaging as well as your bookings, so your Airbnb, Booking.com and VRBO conversations arrive in Conduit automatically once it is connected.

## What you need

| Field in Conduit | Where it comes from |

| **Account ID** | Your Hostaway account |
| **API key** | Created in Hostaway |

## Part 1: Get your Hostaway credentials

Create an API key in Hostaway and note the account ID it belongs to. Both values are needed.

## Part 2: Connect Hostaway in Conduit

1. Go to **Settings > PMS** under Channels and click **Add PMS**.
2. Search for **Hostaway** and select it.
3. Enter your account ID and API key, then click **Connect**.
4. Click **Import** to bring your listings in.

The import runs in the background and can take a few minutes on a larger portfolio. Imported listings arrive as active. See [Listings and groups](/setup/pms/listings-and-groups) to set any you do not want the agent working on to inactive.
