# Connect Messenger

> Bring Facebook Messenger conversations into your Conduit inbox.

Connect Messenger so messages sent to your Facebook Page arrive in your Conduit inbox alongside your other channels.

## Before you start

You need a **Meta Business account**, along with the Facebook Page whose messages you want in Conduit. It is worth confirming you have these before planning around this channel.

## Connect Messenger

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open your channel settings">
    Go to **Settings > Messenger** under Channels.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start the connection">
    Choose to add a Page.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in and authorize">
    Sign in with Meta, choose the Page you want to connect, and grant Conduit access.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Once connected, Messenger conversations appear in your shared inbox, and your AI agent can respond to them if you have enabled it for this channel.

## Frequently asked questions

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Why can I not complete the connection?">
    Usually because the Page is not attached to a Meta Business account, or because the account signing in does not have permission to manage that Page. Check both, and if it still fails, contact support.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I connect more than one Page?">
    Repeat the same steps and choose a different Page each time. If you manage several brands, tell your onboarding contact, as it affects how your agent introduces itself.
