# Connect iMessage

> Connect your Linq or Sendblue numbers to send and receive iMessage and SMS in Conduit.

## Overview

iMessage is a communication channel in Conduit. Connect iMessage-enabled numbers through **Linq** or **Sendblue** so incoming messages appear in your unified inbox and your AI agents and team can reply from Conduit.

You can bring your own provider account or ask Conduit to provision a number for you.

## Connection options

| Option | What you provide | Cost through Conduit |
| - | - | - |
| Connect your own Linq account | A Linq partner API token and at least one registered number | Your Linq service remains under your existing provider account |
| Connect your own Sendblue account | A Sendblue API key ID, API secret key, and at least one number | Your Sendblue service remains under your existing provider account |
| Conduit-provisioned number | Contact Conduit to request a number | \$300 per month per number, paid annually (\$3,600 per year) |

The Conduit-provisioned option is a passthrough fee and requires annual payment. To request a number, contact [support@conduit.ai](mailto:support@conduit.ai).

## Connect your own Linq numbers

Before you begin, make sure you have permission to manage connections in Conduit and have your **Linq partner API token** ready. Your Linq account must already contain the numbers you want to use.

1. In Conduit, go to **Settings > Connections**.
2. Click **Add connection**, then select **Linq**.
3. Enter your **Partner API token** and click **Continue**.
4. Select the Linq numbers you want Conduit to manage.
5. Click **Connect**.

Conduit validates the token, loads the registered numbers from your Linq account, and configures message delivery for the numbers you select.

## Connect your own Sendblue numbers

Before you begin, make sure you have permission to manage connections in Conduit and copy your **API key ID** and **API secret key** from your Sendblue dashboard. Your Sendblue account must already contain the numbers you want to use.

1. In Conduit, go to **Settings > Connections**.
2. Click **Add connection**, then select **Sendblue**.
3. Enter your **API key ID** and **API secret key**, then click **Continue**.
4. Select the Sendblue numbers you want Conduit to manage.
5. Click **Connect**.

Conduit validates the credentials, loads the numbers from your Sendblue account, and configures message delivery for the numbers you select.

<Note>
  Provider credentials are encrypted and used to connect your account, manage message delivery, and send messages on your behalf.
</Note>

## After connecting

Send a test message to one of your connected numbers and confirm that the conversation appears in the Conduit inbox. Then reply from Conduit to verify outbound delivery.

Set up [inbox routing rules](/inbox/setup/routing) if messages for different numbers should go to different inboxes or AI agents.

## Troubleshooting

* **No numbers appear:** Confirm that the number is active in the Linq or Sendblue account associated with the credentials you entered.
* **Credentials are rejected:** Generate or copy the provider credentials again, then reconnect the account.
* **Messages do not arrive:** Confirm the connection is active in **Settings > Connections**, then contact [support@conduit.ai](mailto:support@conduit.ai) if delivery still fails.
