# Manage spam

> Keep unwanted email addresses and phone numbers out of your Conduit inbox.

## Add a phone number to spam

Mark an unwanted caller as spam to keep conversations from that number out of your Conduit inbox.

1. Go to **Settings** > **Spam**.
2. In the **Phone** section, select **Add phone rule**.
3. Enter the full phone number, including the country code (for example, `+14155552671`).
4. Optionally add a display name to help your team recognize the rule.
5. Select **Create rule**.

<Note>
  A phone spam rule suppresses the caller in Conduit, but it does not currently reject the call at the phone provider. Depending on your phone routing setup, a call can still reach Voice AI, a forwarded number, or a call group.
</Note>

## Add an email address to spam

Email spam rules keep matching conversations out of the inbox, prevent AI responses, and prevent matching contacts from being merged.

1. Go to **Settings** > **Spam**.
2. In the **Email** section, select **Add email rule**.
3. Enter the sender's email address and, if needed, choose a matching condition.
4. Optionally add a display name.
5. Select **Create rule**.

## Remove a spam rule

1. Go to **Settings** > **Spam**.
2. Open the actions menu beside the rule.
3. Select **Delete**, then confirm.

Future conversations from that sender can appear in your inbox again.
